In-N-Out, the popular fast-food chain, may be pursuing legal action against a burger joint named In-I-Nout in Sinaloa, Mexico, for its striking similarities in menu items, branding, and name. The Mexican restaurant offers a double cheeseburger with similar ingredients to In-N-Out’s signature double-double, and its french fries resemble In-N-Out’s animal-style fries. The similarity in branding, including an upside-down version of In-N-Out’s logo, has caught the attention of In-N-Out, although the chain has not provided further comments due to “ongoing litigation.”
